Job description
This is a key role working with suppliers to schedule and expedite material for delivery at the right time to achieve optimum production requirements and to meet customer requirements across the globe.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, working in a small team you will be working closely with Engineering and Contract departments.
In this role you will review ERP recommendations to prepare, validate and schedule purchase orders to achieve optimal level of material availability, build relationships with suppliers ensuring the deliveries are received on time in full, participating on Supplier On Time Delivery activities and action daily exception messages, maintaining system parameters and ensuring deliveries are received on time in full whilst maintaining the optimum levels of inventory.
This role would suit a person who approaches problems in a methodical and logical way.
