Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging history lessons in line with the national curriculum for secondary education.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, discussion, and exploration of historical concepts.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and educational resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching history at the secondary level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for history.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (Disclosure and Barring Service) - Essential.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
