Job description
Our client is looking to recruit a highly motivated Performance Analyst with excellent communication skills, to join the Finance Control & Accounting Team at our Grangemouth site on a temporary / 37.5 hours per week basis.
Location – Grangemouth
Candidates MUST be UK resident
Purpose of role Support the Performance Team to produce the monthly business performance and other daily, weekly and ad hoc analysis to accurately quantify and forecast performance and profitability.
Key skills - Production of Monthly Performance Analysis
- Production of daily / weekly analysis and reports
- Production of Refinery Operating Plan
- Monthly Commercial Reporting, in particular Wholesale Reporting
- Cover for other Commercial Reporting
Special Features - Require highly developed analytical and problem solving skills with ability to be able to see through the problems that arise and implement solutions.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, understanding of refining business and the interaction of invoicing, purchasing, trading and operations on the financial results.
- A highly motivated team player with good communication skills and able to link up with Trading, site Planning and Optimisation, Hydrocarbon and Financial teams to achieve results.
Qualifications, knowledge and skills - Graduate with 5 years experience working in an industrial or trading environment
- Ability to understand complex manufacturing systems
- Excellent IT skills, especially Excel
- Be able to interpret and develop complex refining scenarios
