Job description
•Act as a role model for your team to ensure customers have a fantastic post office experience whilst adopting an approaching and friendly manner
•Motivate and support your team to achieve results and provide them with feedback to learn and improve, all while leading by example
•Support the Branch Manager with the teams induction, training, development and coaching
•Take responsibility for opening and closing the Post Office and be a key holder
•Work to maximise sales opportunities whilst still satisfying the customers needs
•Familiarise yourself with the products we sell and services we offer to share knowledge with customers
•Ensure customer complaints are dealt with politely and professionally
•Be actively involved with social initiatives and volunteering hours to support your local community
•Excellent ability to provide customer service and a passion for providing customer care
•Previous supervisory or team management experience
•A natural ability to listen, interact and communicate with customers
•Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evening and weekends
•Confidence and a friendly, approachable nature
•Passes in English and Maths (GCSEs or A’ levels).
•Ideal, but not essential, Retail apprenticeship level 2 or 3
