Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical quality and development of the planning services at MJCA. As a key member of the management team you will be expected to play a proactive role in company performance and the development of new business opportunities for strategic growth. With direct line management responsibilities for the planning team at MJCA you will promote training, technical awareness and career progression.
You will direct and have an input to projects and have up to date knowledge of UK Planning and environmental legislation. You will, together with the planning team, provide guidance and technical advice to our clients and others in the company regarding planning policy and legislation, co-ordinate EIAs and the preparation of Environmental Statements and planning and DCO applications. Experience in minerals and waste planning is essential. Experience in renewable energy would be an advantage.
If you have a relevant qualification in planning or in a specialist discipline area, relevant experience and expertise, are highly motivated, experienced in project management, budgeting and financial control, have strong leadership and communication skills and business development experience then we would like to hear from you.
