Job description
Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a Secondary School in Skipton to recruit dedicated DT Food Teacher. This is a full time DT Food Teacher placement to start ASAP until December 24 in the first instance, with a potential of a perm offer for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be teaching DT Food to Key Stage 3 and 4.
The school have also mentioned that they will consider applications for those wanting part time work (3 days minimum). The school is based on the outskirts of Skipton and was rated ‘Outstanding’ in their last Ofsted. The department is looking to add an experienced DT Food Teacher who can bring their skills and expertise to an already thriving team. Applications from ECT’s will also be considered.
Requirements:
Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject
2 x references from educational establishments
Evidence of an exemplary track record
A passion for success and quality teaching
An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
