What do you need?
- Minimum 2 years experienced working as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
- Previous experience in complex care (desirable)
- Ability to work alone as well as a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families
- We still apply COVID-19 protections for our residents and employees must have a minimum of two vaccinations unless medically exempt
What hours will you work?
Week A - 3 days - Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 19.45 to 08.15
Week B - 4 days - Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday:19.45 to 08.15
Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week
What will you be doing?
- Organise and delegate workload to ensure effective delivery of resident’s care is carried out by appropriate skilled members of staff
- Assessing, planning and evaluating care needs or the provision of care
- Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants & Senior Health Care Assistants on shift
- Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concerns to managers
- Ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in a comprehensive manner
- Respect the confidentiality, dignity and privacy of residents and staff at all times
About Us
Marula Lodgeprovide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.
Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them unsuitable to live in dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
We currently have 3 homes based in Waterlooville, Curdridge and Mytchett and are in the process of building 2 new homes in Bristol and Wincanton which are due to open in 2024.
