Job description
The UK’s largest off-grid energy delivery network needs a reliable and experienced Business Analyst with systems aptitude, process aptitude and SAP experience to act as an interface to optimize their activity.
You will be responsible for the provision of expert advice and guidance regarding one or more business processes, to the Business Process Owners and Functional Managers and drive the usage and adoption of the standard solution, managing requirements in line with business objectives.
SALARY: £43,000 - £53,000
LOCATION: Warwick- hybrid working pattern
You should have:
- Experience of relevant SAP and other application solutions for the defined process area (end to end) including the data to support the process.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of business processes and business principles.
- Knowledge of SAP best practice processes.
- Experience working on large Transformation projects.
- Experience process mapping and process tooling (e.g. Aris, Signavio, Pro-map).
- Experience writing operational business procedures.
Some responsibilities include:
- Works closely with Business Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Key Users and the wider business to understand their requirements and encourage the use of standard functionality wherever possible. Proactively collects additional inputs to ensure a comprehensive demand view.
- Works with Business Process Owners on Business Process designs. Translates requirements into viable process solutions in SAP & other systems that are aligned with the Business strategy and goals, solution principles and standard functionality.
- Holistic process design, including thinking about integration points, controls, roles, compliance, KPIs, reports. Ensure processes adhere to company policies and compliance requirements (process controls, segregation of duties, etc.) - Supporting Access and Process controls in job role and process design.
- Proactively review business processes with BPOs and drive improvements.
- Provide support to Business in areas of process procedure, requirements elucidation (for example supporting super users and other change requesters in documenting change requirements in the right way and to the right level), process training/hints and tips.
