Job description

We have hours available for a Flexible temporary Worker.

The assignment is for a Retail Security Support officer, c overing   various   Morrisons stores in the Edinburgh area - may be asked to work in other stores outside of this remit.

Various hours and shifts as and when required. On average 16 - 42 hours per week. Shifts as per site rotas. Monday to Saturday between 07.00 - 22.00 & Sunday 08.00 - 20.00.

Pay rate: £11.00 - £12.50 per hour, dependent on site worked. Weekly pay.

This allows you to:

• Full PAYE status (still allows Tax Credits/SSP etc)

• Remain eligible for SSP/SMP

• Weekly pay every Friday

• Holiday pay

• Job flexibility – allowing you to be registered with more than one company

• The ability to claim and be paid legitimate HMRC work/travel related expenses each week. 

• Company Pension - NEST (Automatically enrolled if eligible – one month opt out period)

Own transport preferred, Retail and door experience preferred. Must be flexible to cover at short notice and available to work weekends on a rotation basis.

About the role:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
• Providing a visible deterrent within the store
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Working as part of a team to fulfil customer requirements
• Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner

About you:

• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
• A valid SIA Licence  
• A full five-year checkable employment history
• Own transport preferred

You will receive a contract of employment from your employer separately.

You will receive your pay weekly on a Friday from Brooklands PM (PSP) Payroll Services Provider.

You will not be working for Kingdom Service Group directly, although will have the opportunity to request your temporary agreement to be transferred to a Kingdom Contract in the future.
