Job description

North Tyneside Council’s Bereavement Service has Gold Charter Status for both its cremation and burial service and Preston Cemetery also has Green Flag status. 

The service has responsibility for 2 Crematoria, 7 Cemeteries and 6 closed Churchyards and we are looking to appoint a highly motivated team player to join our burial and grounds maintenance team delivering a high-quality service, sympathetic to the needs of the bereaved.

The role includes grave digging duties and grounds maintenance in our 7 cemeteries and 6 closed churchyards across the Borough ensuring that all work is complete to the agreed standard.
