St Louis School of Milan is a private International Day and Boarding school, catering for 1800 students (50 Nationalities) from ages 2 to 18 that offers a curriculum based on the British National Curriculum. The school is part of the prestigious INSPIRED school network and is renowned for its high academic standards and unique approaches to learning.

Our IB Diploma students achieved an exceptional, sustained score of 37 in the last 8 years, which puts us as one of the highest-scoring schools in continental Europe for this duration.

In a really exciting time in our recent development, our new High School campus, Palazzo Archinto, in the exact centre of Milan with 500 students presently studying the IGCSE and IB Diploma curricula. The Palazzo provides the perfect learning environment for students of this age, blending state-of-the art educational facilities within historic surroundings. The student and teaching body use apple mac books and accessories throughout all subject areas.

Due to our continued growth an ESS ( environmental systems and society ) and Global Perspectives teacher is needed to teach within our IB Diploma / IGCSE curricula

We are a school that values diversity and individual contribution, supporting and encouraging staff to pursue their interests and achieve their ambitions.We are seeking to employ an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher to lead this successful and growing department. The post is available from September 2024 and will suit a well-qualified and experienced Humanities/ Science graduate who has experience of teaching IGCSE – IB Diploma in an academic school.

The ideal candidate for the post will be an enthusiastic, well-qualified graduate and successful, dynamic teacher and leader. Love of the subjects and an ability to convey this to students are essential. The candidate could come from a Humanities and/or science background.

An EU passport holder would be preferable but we are open to a wider field.

A very generous salary, flights and baggage allowance, are provided by the school as well as generous CPD provision within these exam courses. There is a 75 % reduction in children fees and assistance with finding central accommodation in this great city. Staff are provided free daily meals in an adjoining Italian restaurant ! Tax benefits are also available.
