Job description
Business Development Manager Salary : £55K-£60K + Benefits Benefits:
- Monday – Friday working week 8;30am- 5pm. Friday finish at 3pm.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year sales / business development
- Technical engineering experience
- Proven ability to generate and convert your own sales leads.
- Sales experience of technical products
- Experience with CRM systems
- Experience of CAD / Drawing systems (advantageous)
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the clients’ requirements.
- Confidence and ability to persuade.
- Solid IT skills (Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint)
- The ability to motivate themselves and others.
- Determined to be successful.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Business acumen, commercial awareness, and interest in developing business.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to make good business decisions.
What will you be doing?
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
- Build relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
- Maintain and develop relationships with current clients.
- Pitch sales and products to new and existing clients.
- Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends.
- Create sale forecast and actively work towards reaching them.
- Possess a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
- Collaborate with the technical department and sales team to ensure that the requirements are met.
