Key Responsibilities: - Processing payroll and submitting RTI reports to HMRC promptly.
- Managing new starters and leavers efficiently.
- Providing expert support to clients and handling queries from employees and local authorities.
- Calculating and administering pension contributions, including auto-enrolment schemes.
- Collaborating closely with pension scheme providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Generating reports for BACS payments accurately.
- Executing payments for clients via Modulr with precision.
- Maintaining meticulous client files and ensuring records are up-to-date.
- Assisting with onboarding new clients and facilitating smooth transitions from previous accountants.
- Playing a key role in training and developing the payroll team.
- Contributing to the creation of invoices for clients with variable billing arrangements.
Experience and Skills Required: - Minimum of 4 years' experience in a payroll bureau environment, preferably with proficiency in BrightPay payroll software.
- Thorough understanding of PAYE regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
