Job description
We are looking for an experienced technical Lead for a mobile app development.

As an App developer, you will work with a team of professionals to build parent mobile and web app.
We are looking for someone who with great experience in mobile app development. Experienced IT development lead, with experience of Mobile app development, Flutter, Firebase and PHP.
This is a remote volunteering opportunity with a main point of contact at our small and busy charity. The role will be very flexible and rewarding.

What difference will you make?As a volunteer with Afrikindness, you will help to create the image of Afrikindness seen and understood by the community we serve. Through your work, you will be contributing to the work we do, bringing digital awareness to the mental health issues children face, the lack of empathy, issues with bullying, hatred, racism, and the effect on children, and what Afrikindness is doing to tackle those issues.
Your design on mobile app development will shape how we present ourselves to the parent community we are building, our funders, and the general public. With your help, we will be able to continue to inspire as many families and children to show kindness, and projects in a compelling visual image that spreads the word and amplifies the work done.
The app is a very important area of our work helping parents globally find and access our services easily and safely. Digital efficiency is also very critical to us. Therefore the impact of this role is essential to the work we do in fostering positive racial identity development and promoting kindness in young people, building our parent community, and providing hands-on support to parents from minoritised communities.
You will be joining our charity during an exciting point in our development and a period of real growth; your expert knowledge, skill, and experience will be critical to our success. You will have a key role in ensuring we can maintain the work that we do. You will be a part of our small, extremely friendly, passionate, and forward-thinking charity team.
