We have a vacancy for a Development Programme Manager at our client based in Bordon.

Description:
The Program Manager will be responsible for supporting project teams in the co–ordination of project schedules and project deliverables related to timing, performance, cost and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Leading communication, act as point of contact between the company and the customer to achieve project timelines and high Customer satisfaction.
- Liaison of products transfer from other design site, act as interface between factory and design site to ensure both transfer and production schedule are met.
- Co–ordinate with the project team and the cross functional teams to manage the project planning to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop, manage, and maintain all project plans using project management software.
- Plan and facilitate project review meetings to ensure timely completion of the project development stages as outlined in the applicable development procedures.
- Manage and report progress to internal and external customers.
- Plan project end evaluation with all team members to assess how well projects have been managed (including lessons learned and opportunities for improvement).
- Responsible for circulating the task information and action items throughout the team
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a clean record of the project history allowing all project team members and management to monitor the project progress.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining minutes during project review meetings.
- Correlates the project tasks with other on–going projects and flags to the Engineering Director potential conflicts in using the resources.
- Identifies risks and obstacles and formulates attack plan to mitigate.
Education / Experience:
- Engineering Degree or consideration of a combination of education and experience
- Program management for electrical hardware design preferred
- 4+ years experience with a typical product development process
- Automotive experience is a plus
- Proven ability to manage internal and external Customer communications and expectations
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Project or similar project management software
- Individual must be seen as a team player by the project leader and the team
- Must have a solid understanding of customer expectation
- Must be able to work effectively with MPS Sales
Compensation and Benefits:
Hours of Work: 38 per week, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm with half hour lunch break from Monday through Thursday and 8.30 am to 12.30 pm Friday
Pension: Group Stakeholder Pension Scheme. Company s contribution 5% of basic salary, employee contribution a minimum of 4% of basic salary
Holiday Entitlement: 21 working days holiday (up to a maximum of number of working days in a week)
