About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our team in the North West region to work on some interesting and challenging Highways projects

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Engineer you will:

• Oversee Engineering control and implementation of works on site, including monitoring and reporting of progress.
• Maintain survey equipment including registers of equipment and testing regimes
• Read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specifications
• Produce as-built drawings & records for every element of the works involved in completion
  of Quality Check Sheets and Handover Documentation in a timely manner in line with programme
• Maintaining accurate records Daily Diary, photographs, records of site discussions
• Understand Permit to Dig Systems
• Be competent in setting out techniques ability to use level & EDM, plus GPS
• Be able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately

Who we're looking for

As a Senior Engineer , you will have knowledge of the construction process in one or more of the following areas:

• Earthworks / Drainage
• Pavement
• Structures
• Roadworks
