Production Engineer

Are you looking for a new Production Engineering challenge? We are currently working with a reputable and well-established manufacturing in Poole who are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to join their team.

A progressive and exciting business to be part of this role will use all your communication and relationship-building skills.

As a Production Engineer, you will support operations -contributing to the continuous improvement of products in production, creating work instructions, correct tooling, and so on

Key responsibilities as Production Engineer

• You will work to implement 6s across the business.
• Provide engineering and technical support to the shop floor.
• Create work instructions, correct tooling, and JIG’s fixtures (SolidWorks)
• Introduce PMFEW, process maps, DMAIC, and work instructions.
• Calculate estimated assembly times and associated costs.

Experience asa Production Engineer

• Previous experience as a Production Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer.
• HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering.
• Previous exposure to lean manufacturing methods and quality methodologies such as 6-sigma etc.
• Previous experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor) of equipment and tooling.
• Problem solver and solution provider.
