Electrical Maintenance Technician (Electrical bias) Hindley, Wigan, Days / Shifts (3 Shift Rotation)
We have a role available for a electrical maintenance technician to work in Hindley, Wigan.
You will be working for a leading company who develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods
Your focus in this role will be to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance and minimise downtime for the production facility.

Main duties for the Maintenance Technician:
· Fault find on PLC controlled machinery via 'online' analysis status using PC.
· Ensure that production downtime is minimised by attending to machinery and equipment breakdowns.
· Ensure that the Planned Maintenance (PM) schedule is carried out and reported correctly and any resultant problems recorded and resolved.
· Recommend changes and additions to the PM schedule to ensure that the plant operates at the most effective level.
· Breakdown Maintenance and Planned Maintenance specialising in fault finding and support of PLC controlled and automated machinery.
· Enter the necessary information into the PEMAC system.
· To also drive the introduction of new processes and upgrade existing processes in order: Push down the cost and improve the quality of existing products
Candidate Requirements for the Maintenance Technician:
· Level 2 City & Guilds two-year mechanical maintenance apprenticeship (level 3 preferred) or electrical
· Electrical fault finding
· Time served in an electrical/mechanical role/apprenticeship
· Building facility management support.
· Proficient MSOffice user.
· Strong Mechanical craft skills.
· Strong health & safety awareness.
· Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Annualised hours 3 shifts 2-10; 6-2; 10-6 as per the cell operators that are on site. (Please consider these shift patterns before applying)

4th Shift
Once finished at 06.00am Saturday Morning then there is 8 days off.
Always being paid 39 hours a week for each week (Nil accrual of holiday pay in the 8 days shift changeover)
