WSP are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Director - Renewables to join our team to oversee our renewable energy projects. You would be driving innovation and excellence in the development of sustainable energy initiatives.

As the Associate Director - Renewables, you will play a pivotal role in advancing wind, solar and hydrogen energy projects that align with our commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge engineering practices. Leveraging your extensive experience, you will provide strategic direction, and technical expertise, and ensure the successful design, implementation, and operation of renewable energy solutions.

You would have the option of being based in UAE or Saudi Arabia. 

Your new role, what's involved?

• Feasibility Studies for new wind, solar and hydrogen Projects.
• Preparation of wind, solar Resource Assessment.
• Business development experience in renewable energy space, including wind, solar and hydrogen.
• Developing WSP go to market strategy for renewable and energy projects.
• Review of reports prepared by the team.
• Ability to secure and lead the execution of consultancy assignments like feasibility reports and LTA and owners engineer assignments.
• Review of bankable reports by quality review of available wind data w.r.t raw wind data and corrections applied.
• Should be able to prepare reports on wind, solar and hydrogen data analysis process.
• Travel around the GCC region as and when required. 

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Demonstrable experience in client handling while front facing the clients on the ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Engineering Degree in Electrical engineering or similar.
• Exposure to international projects.
• Experience as a seller -doer.
• Excellent communication skills, presentable and interpersonal skills.
