Senior Manager – Strategy & Insight
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As our Senior Manager – Strategy & Insight at adidas, you’ll contribute to and steer the European strategic agenda by driving change and delivering results through actionable insights and cross-functional business partnering as part of our Business Development team.

Your key responsibilities:
Head Office
- Actively participate in the Cluster Business Development Team and wider zone / cluster senior cross-functional community to ensure Global and European strategic goals are prioritized in the work program.
- Actively support the production and organization of relevant documentation to ensure the Leadership Team is fully informed of progress in strategic and operational initiatives and prepared for key stakeholder interaction.
- Support the ongoing improvement of management and broader processes through review and assessment, making recommendations based on best practice.
- Support the delivery and cascade of the Cluster Leadership Team priorities, action plans and purpose using a variety of communication tools.
- Prepare content for key Cluster / Market visits (VIP decks).
- Support the Europe Head Office function to drive efficiency and harmonization by driving change management across the organization Market / Cluster.
Strategic Planning
- Support the preparation and delivery of the local country / zone / cluster plans, providing a consolidated category, channel and marketplace level assessment, framework and ambition.
- Support and drive evolution in processes and organizational adjustment to promote a harmonized European approach to delivering against strategic priorities.
- Ensure communication of a consistent narrative on the European Strategic plan through the organization by delivering an aligned communication plan and content.
Strategy Execution / Project Management
- Ensure all country / zone / cluster projects adhere to the European project criteria.
- Support business case development for new initiatives through to approval by relevant stakeholders.
- Apply the Global Project Management toolkit and approach ensuring consistency through Europe.
- Provide ongoing communication and tracking of progress for priority projects to the Leadership Team and identified stakeholders, highlighting successes and interventions required and assessing ultimate impact and learning.
- Lead, facilitate, manage, and support specific cross-functional projects and change management as required, based on EU and local priorities.
- Serve as expert in Project Management standards, identifying and leveraging opportunities to upskill the local organization.
- Act as end-to-end internal consultant who plays a role of challenger and sparring partner for strategy execution and delivery of local projects and initiatives by providing the relevant local insights and data to support informed decision making.
Market and Business Intelligence:
- Drive and support the delivery of Market and Business Intelligence to deliver broad insights needed to generate relevant insights to support high quality business decisions.
- Feed into and utilize a European led standardized insights toolkit approach across the market.
- Provide internal stakeholders with relevant information packages meeting their respective needs through an aligned communication plan and process.
