Job description

What you will do in your working day

As an apprentice Early Years Educator at Little Pippins you will get to nurture and encourage the creativity of children. No two days are the same as you watch their young minds develop, broaden horizons, and begin to help them pave their way towards a bright future as you embark on your learning journey too!

Duties include but not limited to –

• Providing high quality childcare for under-fives, which includes a wide range of activities and opportunities to enable children to achieve their full potential
• Assist in provision of a warm caring environment for children and their families, accessible to all. To integrate children and parents with disabilities, sensitively and positively into the setting, promoting participation in a range of quality activities
• Liaise with parents/carers to highlight the needs of their children and sharing developmental information on a regular basis with other professionals
• Foster a safe and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and play

This role may be closed early if a sufficient number of applications are received.

The training you will be getting

• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Functional Skills in English and maths if required
• End Point Assessment – knowledge test and professional
  discussion
• How training will be delivered is to be confirmed

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Possible permanent employment upon completion of the apprenticeship.
