Job description
SEN Service Manager 6 month initial interim contract Inside IR35 – £500 – £550 per day Hybrid working South Coast, Local Authority We are working with a Local Authority who are looking for an experienced Service Manager for SEND who is able to contribute towards a fast paced improvement agenda.
The Service Manager will work alongside the Statutory SEND Service Manager and will seek to support the development of the new Service restructure.
Your duties as a SEND Service Manager:
- Working alongside the Head of Service for School Place Planning to ensure that the specialist needs of SEND children are understood and that there is a clear programme for resource base provision to meet the needs of the children;
- Working to support those SEND children WASP or awaiting specialist provision.
- Working as Peer Support for SEND Statutory Manager.
- Support new structure development and workforce coaching.
Experience needed as a SEND Service Manager:
- Have a track record of delivering service improvements and reducing service costs
- Must hold exemplary knowledge of SEND legislation and provision
- Experienced in leading a SEND service within Local Authority
