We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Deputy Manager at our Supported Living service in Birkenhead.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work alongside the service manager & staff members to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of support workers.
• Support 1-1 and continue to promote positive well-being and independent living.
• Be part of an on-call system
• This is within a large, supported living service with adults aged 18+ 24/7 with a range of needs including Mental Health, Acquired Brain Injuries, Korsakoff’s Syndrome, ASD and Learning Disabilities and Dual Diagnosis
• Whilst behaviours can sometimes be challenging, for a select few this is a rewarding role where no two days are the same

Who you are:

• Have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Health & social care, or willingness/ability to work towards
• Be trustworthy, reliable with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Have a positive outlook, recognising and respecting differences and encouraging growth.
• You will embrace continuous improvement, sharing best practice with an open mind to learning.
• You will treat people equally, remove barriers end empower the people we support and team members to live their best lives.
