Job description

Are you a Quality Manager looking for a new role? Are you skilled in implementing Quality Management Systems and driving Production Quality compliance? Can you help set the standards for a market leading manufacturer business working with global blue chip customers?

Kingscroft has been asked to recruit for Quality Manager by a specialist manufacturing business. As the ideal candidate you will have worked in a fast paced product led production environment and be confident in delivering ISO9001 and 14001 systems. As the Quality Manager you will develop strong customer and supplier relationships and help drive standards through investigating non-conformance and delivering process and system based improvements.

The business is in a strong position with excellent performance in safety and quality so the role will suit someone with a proactive, continuous improvement led approach.

Your role will involve:

• Alongside the Strategic Supply Chain and Materials Management colleagues ensure suppliers achieve and maintain appropriate standard (ISO 9001 / 14001) via Supplier audits, Supplier development and Goods Inwards Inspection etc.
• Provide and maintain systems, procedures and processes that drive the product quality to the highest levels.
• Actively record and implement engineering changes to the assembly lines.
• In association with the After Sales and NPI/Sustainability Engineering Group, actively participate in the identification, root cause analysis and correction of any design, manufactured defects
• Coordinate the activities to correct any issues that occur inside or outside the company that affect customer satisfaction with our products.
• Manage the team of Quality Staff ensuring daily tasks and activities completed and quality statistics provided for production & supplier improvement.
• Manage and lead the quality and production teams in route cause analysis for customer quality concerns ensuring no repeat concerns occur.
• Play a leading role in the Operations Management Team
• All existing and new systems comply with ISO and other accreditation body requirements.
• Ensure the promotion and awareness of customer requirements throughout the organisation.
