I’m looking for a Personal Assistant to support me for 2 or 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 9.30am to 5.30pm. I’m a 40yr old male with cerebral palsy, full time wheelchair user, needing assistance for all my personal care and social activities. Due to the one to one nature of the job, good personal chemistry and support for my interests- sports, gaming, music and films- are important. Job includes driving my accessible vehicle so a full Uk driving licence is required and over 25 yrs old for car insurance requirements. Previous experience desirable but reliability, a positive outlook and promotion of my independence and choices are important. I live at home with my family and have well equipped facilities, including overhead hoist, in my own area of the house. The job is done in a non smoking environment.
