Job description
Skillsearch is working with a client seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to lead their company's operations and business development in Japan. This full-time Regional Manager remote role is fully remote and offers an attractive salary.
In your first few weeks in this Regional Manager role, you can expect to:
- Lead the overall operations and business development strategies of our Japan branch
- Be responsible for hiring and building a local team
- Develop and implement regional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in alignment with the company's goals and objectives
- Work closely with the CEO and other regional team leaders to ensure cohesive global strategies and practices
- Represent the company at game shows, gaming events, and other industry-related gatherings to strengthen our presence and network in the region.
To apply for this role, you'll need an established background in the AAA gaming industry and a deep understanding of game art and the art sourcing process. You will also need:
- A comprehensive understanding of the game development pipeline, from concept to release
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing a team effectively and remotely
- Fluency in Japanese and proficient in English
