We are seeking a Team Leader to join our Lurgan DISH Service on a 24hr contract Driving licence and 2 years paid health and social care experience
What’s the Role: Team Leader
What It Takes:
An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.
So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team support our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.
Where You Would Work: Lurgan DISH
Lurgan DISH (Disperse, Independent, Social Housing) service provide support to adults with Mental Health wellbeing needs within their own home throughout the Lurgan area.
There are a variety of people we support, all with specific needs and diagnoses, such as, Bipolar, schizophrenia and addictions to name a few.
The team support induviduals to develop their skills to be able to live with increased independence and to become more involved in their local community. We support them in achieving their goals and to enhance their quality of life, as well as encouraging, motivating and supporting them on their Mental Health recovery journey.
We work closely with the community mental health team, the hospital services, police and the people we support’s extended support systems, in order to provide a holistic and comprehensive service with the individual at the centre of everything we do.

Company Maternity Pay
Salary Details:
Team Leader
24 hours per week Contract available
£24,450 - £27,654 per annum
*Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies*
