Job description
Job Summary: To work in collaboration with the Programme Manager, Lead Clinician and Team Leader, to ensure the highest standards of practice and service delivery. To provide services in line with Your Health: NHS Health Checks Point of Care testing (Lipid management) Screening Immunisations Registering patients with their local GP Practice Signposting and education Pre-screening for refugees / asylum seekers Phlebotomy services Response to outbreaks of infectious diseases for swabbing / immunising Driving the mobile treatment van from base site to clinic and returning van to base site Being responsible for stock and equipment on the van Being responsible for stock take of vaccine, ordering and taking delivery of vaccine at base site To work as part of a multi-disciplinary community service team. To manage own case load and escalate to senior where appropriate, support the Band 2 administrators, support the attached external staff, ensuring that the needs of service users are met through the effective deployment of these staff.
