Job Title: Behaviour Mentor Location: Hackney Salary: £90-£155 per day Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Long-term with the potential to become permanent Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? Requirements for this Role: - Experience and training in trauma and attachment: We are seeking a dedicated individual with a strong background in trauma and attachment to provide invaluable support to our students.
- SEMH, ADHD, autism, and ODD experience: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will have experience working with students facing challenges related to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), ADHD, autism, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).
- Must be flexible, calm, and supportive of the Academy’s ethos: We are looking for an individual who can adapt to various situations, remain composed under pressure, and align with the values and ethos of our Academy.
Responsibilities: As a Behaviour Mentor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing targeted support to students facing behavioural challenges.
- Collaborating with teaching staff to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Conducting one-on-one and group mentoring sessions to address individual student needs.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized behaviour plans.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
