Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner, sought for a dynamic healthcare organisation based in the West Midlands for a permanent vacancy within the newly established HR team.
The health sector faces a number of challenges, which provides an increasing portfolio of opportunity and demand for the services of our well-established client. This healthcare organisation is continuously growing with current services, in the West Midlands, Derby and Leicester
Duties of the HR Business partner:
- To provide strategic People support to the division's leaders and managers
- Act as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with stakeholders to drive people-centric initiatives that align with business objectives and to promote a positive and inclusive work culture
- Have a deep understanding of People practices, strong commercial acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships across all levels of the division
- The post holder will participate in promoting and advancing the healthcare organisation, whilst working towards the organisation's Values, behaviours, and principle
- Business partnership - develop strong relationships with leaders and manages to understand their needs and provide strategic support and guidance. Proactively identify people-related opportunities and challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
- Lead, engage and manage the divisional People function, ensure the team feel confident in giving ER support and advice that promotes employee wellbeing and is in line with our Values and vision. Support conflict resolution and promote a positive and inclusive environment that fosters employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to procedures and legal requirements. Stay updated on employment laws, regulation, and best practice to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Localised partnership with divisional leaders to drive colleague engagement activity to support high response rates to surveys and target improved areas of performance.
- People analytics and reporting - collect, analyse, and report People data and metrics to identify trends and insight. Set stretching, realistic targets for team members on People function's performance that are aligned with the People Strategy and that evidence the People function as an effective, value-add partner.
- Supporting any other People & Culture activities when the need arises.
The ideal candidate for the HR Business Partner will have:
- A relevant professional HR qualification (CIPD level 5, or working towards level 5)
- The ability to lead, inspire and develop those within the team and key partners.
- Deliver and manage conflicting and changing priorities.
- A Proven track record in stakeholder management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent ability to advocate and be an ambassador for values and key business drivers.
- Experience within change management
- A proven track record of continuous personal development
The HR Business Partner will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to be able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
