Job description

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading not for profit organisation based in Cambridge as they seek to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team. This role has become available due to a departure within the team and within this role you will report into the Assistant Accountant. This role offers a good benefit and holiday package as well as hybrid working arrangements for the successful applicant.


As the incoming Finance Assistant, you will be trained and tasked with the following responsibilities, including:
- Posting supplier invoices
- Processing employee expenses
- Preparing payment runs
- Raising sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with credit control
- Additional duties as per the full job spec


As the successful applicant for this role, you will ideally have worked in a finance environment, or have previous working experience within a busy office environment. You will have good numeracy skills, and ideally have used a finance package such as Sage before. Other desirable attributes include excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and be comfortable working to deadlines.
