Job description
To be responsible for the provision of Occupational Therapy in our Non Weight-bearing and Rehabilitation Beds ensuring that services support the discharge of patients by providing specialist assessment and discharge planning. To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to facilitate timely assessment and timely, co-ordinated discharge planning. To hold responsibility for own caseload, working with and without direct supervision. Provide support for the clinical supervision for Band 5 Occupational Therapists, student Occupational Therapists and give direction to members of support staff. To work flexibly, being willing to work on other Units if / when required. Please refer to Job description and personal Specification for outline of skills, knowledge and experience required.
