Based in: Sevenoaks, Kent
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum pro rata
CAD technician for successful Groundworks contractor working for blue chip Residential developers. Based in the head office, near Sevenoaks, initially on a part-time basis, some WFH is possible.
This role is a great opportunity for a CAD Technician with a strong background in the Ground Engineering and Groundworks sector.
CAD Technician role requirements:
Ideally a degree or HND qualified or experienced CAD Technician, who may be from a civil engineering background.
Extensive knowledge of using AutoCAD 2D
Background within the Groundworks sector
May be currently working for a consultancy and seeking better rewards.
The ability to meet deadlines.
Sound knowledge of building regulation and drawing packages for residential developments.
3-5 years residential development experience with an Architectural Practice, Consultancy, Housebuilder or Contractor
GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
Own transport is essential
CAD Technician role:
Production of models and CAD drawings for use with GPS on earth moving dozers and machines.
Production of temporary works and groundworks designs and drawings.
Drawing up designs using AutoCAD 2D.
Problem-solving.
The works involves large earthworks, adopted infrastructure and foundations.
Using Microsoft Excel as required for processing data.
Obtaining information from CAD drawings to assist engineers.
Ability to be highly accurate and check your own work.
Assisting with the production of site layout plans, and technical details in accordance with current Building Regulation requirements.
CAD Technician package:
Salary £35 - 50K on a pro rata basis

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, 2 days / week, part-time basis
