Connex Education is working with a SEND school based in Derby who are recruiting for a Residential Support Worker to work on a full-time basis with us, Monday to Friday.

Introducing a remarkable school opportunity for a Residential Support Worker on behalf of Connex Education! We are excited to present a unique assignment at a school that caters to students aged 4 to 19. The assignment calls for a Residential Support Worker with experience in supporting students meeting their Speech, Language and Communication Needs, addressing their Special Educational Needs, fostering independence, and enhancing their personal and social skills. You will also actively promote their transition to local college or work-based opportunities, empowering them to make reasoned and positive life choices.

Assignment Details

This Residential Support Worker with role is to start immediately and is an ongoing assignment, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30PM. This is likely to become a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person.

Person Specification

• Must be able to drive and have access to own vehicle.
• Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a school or a similar setting.
• Be willing to provide personal care.
• Be confident in working with challenging behaviour.
• You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
