Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:As a Teaching Assistant, your main responsibilities will include providing support to teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson preparation and set up , and working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve their learning goals. You will also be involved in creating a positive learning environment and supporting the overall well-being of students.
Required Qualifications:To be considered for this role you must
- Have experience working within an educational setting
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Have excellent communication skills
- Warm, positive approach within the classroom setting.
- Previous classroom experience is desired but not essential.
Education:A relevant educational qualification or training in teaching assistance would be beneficial for this role.
Knowledge and Skills:Strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively with both students and teachers, and a passion for supporting student learning are key for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:Additional qualifications in education or child development would be advantageous.
Working Conditions:You will be working in a school setting, supporting teachers and students during school hours. The role may involve some flexibility in terms of working hours and tasks assigned by the teaching staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
