About The Role

Due to an exciting new development at our Skelmersdale site, we are recruiting for Hygiene Operatives to join our Night Shift.

• • Location: Skelmersdale WN8 9TQ
  • Pay: £12.98 p/h
  • Shifts: Nightshift  22:00 - 06:00, Mon- Fri

You will be responsible for the detailed cleaning of our production facility following established cleaning methods using both medium and low pressure washing, chemical application, hand cleaning and operating the CIP system.

The Hygiene team are responsible for maintaining cleaning standards across site ensuring compliance with current food safety legislation requirements and customer codes of practice.

• Ensuring that cleaning methods are adhered to and that assigned areas consistently meet the required hygiene standards.
• Ensuring all site safety procedures are followed.
• Completion of all hygiene tasks to schedule.
• Effectively contributing to the team performance to meet departmental KPI’s.

About You

• Able to work on your own and as part of a wider team.
• Good communication skills and team player.
• Flexibility regarding work duties and working time.
• Previous experience in a similar role (min 1 year), however full training for the right candidate will be offered.
• Focus on health and safety product quality and customer care.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Experience of handling chemicals and use of PPE, however full training for the right candidate will be offered.
• First aid qualification is an advantage.
