The Vacancy

WRc, a member of RSK Group is searching for a Field Engineer / Trainee Field Engineer to join our team in  Swindon on a  full-time, permanent basis .

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a  small team , assisting in carrying out our pipeline inspection surveys. You will get the  opportunity to learn how to use cutting-edge pipeline survey technologies and techniques while  working across the UK .

Key Responsibilities:

• To deliver clean and dirty water projects in line with business requirements and customer expectations.
• Ensure projects are undertaken in a safe and environmentally responsible manner to cost, time and quality in line with company standards and procedures.
• Work with the planner to ensure any changes to the schedule are communicated to all stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintaining in company and Client requirements for Health and Safety.
• Be willing to work both nationally and sometimes internationally, as the company requires, and stay away for periods of time.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Full UK Driving License.
• The desire to work outdoors in all weather.
• Good level of communication and knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Good level of fitness to cope with a physically demanding job.
• Happy to work away occasionally for periods of time.
• The ability to cover night work/weekend work.
• Ability to drive a 3.5-tonne medium wheelbase van.
