Job Description
- Executing an agreed number of risk-based assignments from the audit plan, spanning central functions and end to end processes across the wider Group, focusing on the areas of highest risk to the business.
- Produce concise and impactful audit reporting, with a focus on root causes and business solutions contributing to the development of technology-based assurance solutions, including Key Risk Indicators, Data Mining solutions and continuous auditing.
- Contributing towards the development of the annual internal audit plan and continuous improvement to audit approach and methodology and providing coaching and feedback to the wider Internal Audit team.
- Supporting the ongoing development of risk management procedures across the Group
- Supporting whistle blowing and fraud investigations and the management of associated management information
The Successful Applicant
- A relevant chartered professional qualification. (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA).
- You'll be passionate about working effectively as part of a team and have the ability to coach and develop others.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Ability to undertake risk-based reviews as opposed to solely compliance reviews.
- Ability to review financial /commercial /operational /IT processes.
- The ability to communicate and influence at all levels both verbally.
- Excellent report writing skills underpinned by the ability to clearly and succinctly draft review findings and make pragmatic practical recommendations to produce 'impactful' reports.
- A robust personality with the ability to present clearly and have your own views and judgements and develop relationships across all levels.
- Self-starter who is motivated to perform, takes responsibility for delivery.
- Have an internal drive to succeed, you will need to be able to work well under pressure as you will have various projects on the go whilst being able to lead effectively.
- Significant Internal Audit skills and experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
