Job description
In anticipation of the retirement of our Chief People Officer, we have a unique opportunity for an outstanding leader to shape our People Strategy and contribute to the ambitious goals outlined in Vision 10. As a voting Board Member, your role will be pivotal in building a culture that is patient and person-centred, empowers colleagues, and promotes care, inspiration, appreciation, as well as personal accountability. Your responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of high-quality services throughout the Trust, contributing to the development and implementation of our People Strategy, and aligning these efforts with the overall vision of the organisation, ensuring colleagues have a great experience and feel supported and valued throughout their careers with the NCA. You will spearhead the development of a culture that promotes inclusivity, equality of opportunity, and social value within our communities. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the modernisation of our people function, seizing opportunities created by digitisation and our influential role in Greater Manchester. Acting as the expert counsel on employment law matters, you will foster effective partnership working at all levels with colleague representative bodies.
As Chief People Officer, you will serve as a key member of our Executive Team, leading the People Directorate to deliver our People Strategy and contribute to the people ambitions outlined in Vision 10. Your forward-thinking and innovative approach will be crucial in building a culture that is patient and person-centred, empowers colleagues, and promotes care, inspiration, appreciation, and personal accountability, bringing a passion for excellent patient care and a focus on equity and inclusion, both for our colleagues and our communities.
