Job description

Outwood Academy Hasland Hall is an 11-16 academy based in the large, friendly, Derbyshire town of Chesterfield, near Derby and Sheffield.

Outwood Academy Hasland Hall, places students at the centre of everything it does, with a focus on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning, and increased student attainment, achievement and social and emotional development. We are seeking a highly motivated professional individual with strong ICT skills to fulfil the key role of Examinations & Assessment Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the running and administration of internal and external examinations and maintaining accurate student records. This role will necessitate accuracy, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. The person appointed will have excellent communication skills, good time management, an ability to multitask and be able to work to tight deadlines. Experience of working within a school environment and experience of using SIMS would be a definite advantage but is not essential as training will be provided on all aspects of the role. More importantly, candidates need to be proficient in the use of spreadsheets.

The person appointed will report directly to the Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with the Exams Invigilator team in the academy. The successful candidate will be expected to work in August when examination results are published.
