At Holland & Reilly, we look to invest in the up-skilling and development of our apprentices, ensuring competency and compliance to industry standards, in turn we will look to offer additional training where appropriate to give you the skills you need to deliver the service required.
Working alongside qualified carpenters as mentors, the successful applicants will be offered on a full-time apprenticeship post, working 40 hours per week covering all aspects of Carpentry;

The practical training period of the Carpentry apprenticeship is the time dedicated to the development of the knowledge, skills and behaviours for which includes the following components;
Day release at Cambridge campus and working alongside qualified, friendly and a small team of professionally trained/ experienced Carpenters.
The apprentice would be assigned an assessor through the college, who would typically come out to visit in the workplace to assess workplace competence. The knowledge side would be provided via day release workshop attendance, assignments, evidence of workplace competence. Portfolio would be checked via an online Smart Assessor.
Becoming a fully qualified carpenter, going on to complete Level 3 in Carpentry with Cambridge Regional College. Making valuable contacts within the industry.
