Chassis Cab is a family run business that holds the award winning DAF Truck franchise for East Anglia.
Chassis Cab aims to provide our customers with a first class, reliable service, which reflects our standing as market leader as a main dealer for the supply of DAF Truck and in the provision of a second to none after sales.
Due to Company growth an exciting opportunity has become available and we are looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor at our depot in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 07:30am – 17:00pm - 42.50 hours per week - 1 hour for lunch.
Alternate Saturdays 08.00am – 12.00pm (paid as overtime)
The Role:
This is a well-established and very fast paced HGV Main dealer with a successful aftersales team
We are looking for someone who is motivated by success and understands that this job requires a high level of commitment.
You will be expected to have excellent customer service skills, you will be confident in your ability to deal with a wide range of people in a friendly and professional manner and participate and work effectively in a busy environment as a member of the team.
Your duties will include responding to customer enquiries relating to service and repairs, ensuring the vehicles are booked into the workshop when required and liaising with the customers to agree on a time of completion ensuring these deadlines are met.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail will aid success in building customer relationships and meeting targets in a demanding environment.
Experience required:
The ideal candidate will be required to have good general administration and IT skills and be confident when working under pressure,
A positive attitude and reliability are just as important.
Experience using the Kerridge/CDK dealer system would be preferable.
Vehicle technical knowledge would be preferable however not essential.
Previous experience within the motor trade is required.
Training will be provided by Chassis Cab for those who do not have relevant experience.
