Finance Part Qualified, Finance Qualified

SF Recruitment are currently working with a fantastic manufacturing business based in Telford. They are looking to on board a Management Accountant to join their friendly team, directly supporting the Financial Controller and the wider finance team in an operationally focused role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE Accountant to gain experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a business dedicated to developing their staff.

You will play a key role in cost accounting, business partnering with various teams as well as improving processes and driving efficiencies.

Key tasks:

- Produce monthly Profit and Loss statement
- Analyse production variances against past performance
- Produce analysis of raw materials
- Analyse Gross profit
- Monthly WIP analysis
- Assist in month end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary
- Business Partner with other finance departments as necessary
- Check that accruals for production overhead cost have been posted and variances explained
- Check that GRNI has been fully reviewed and additional GRNI accruals have been posted
- Actively pursue resolution of any system issues
- Contribute to Budgets and Forecasts
- Year End tasks

Requirements:

- Part Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
- Experience within Manufacturing is highly desirable
- Good Excel skills
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at senior level
