£28,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

This is a great opportunity to join a growing in-house marketing team as a Marketing Account Manager in beautiful North Devon.

Your primary role will be to identify the needs of the business’ members and operating companies, while driving channel activity to achieve the desired outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for efficiently planning and scheduling workloads across the two marketing teams, optimising capacity and effectively prioritising projects in the short term.

You will manage a wide portfolio of members and internal group clients with varying marketing needs. You will have a thorough understanding of a range of marketing tools and activities with the ability to recognise where best to use each tool.

This role will involve working closely with each of the service teams; Branding and Social Media, Digital Trading, Performance Marketing, CRM Marketing, Trade Counter Marketing as well as Events and Design and Creative. Working with these teams, you’ll plan and deliver marketing projects and campaigns based on the individual client requirements. You’ll act as a key point of contact between the Marketing Services team and the client.

The role will involve a range of marketing media and platforms including, websites, E-communications, social media, training assets, CRM platforms, external PR, printed assets, virtual and in person events, deploying campaigns and content, and reporting and measuring success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting member businesses through a range of marketing activities to develop and grow their independent business.
• Support the Marketing Services Senior Manager to provide a marketing review and audit potential investments.
• Plan and develop a marketing plan or strategy based on the individual member requirements, bespoke to each members needs and their target audience.
• Take and interpret client briefs (some requirement for in-person meetings)
• Working with member businesses and internal teams to organise and deliver projects and campaigns on time and on brief, ensuring all communications adhere to the Group’s brand guidelines and brand book.
• Plan projects and workloads across the Core and Marketing Services teams.
• Communicate project timelines to all key stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
• Monitor and report on the progress of campaigns using various metrics.
• Writing and proof-reading copy.
• Evaluate analytics and reports and provide recommendations.
• Provide quotes and monitor client budget.
• Recognise areas for member service revenue.
• Provide support to the Core Marketing team as and when required.
