About the Role: As a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with complex needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), complex Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Your role will involve providing one-on-one support, assisting with classroom activities, and creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students with complex needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Complex Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
• Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
• Provide personal care and assistance to students as required.

Non-Negotiables:

• Full-time position only
• Working hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Must have previous experience working in a UK educational setting

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or SEN-related field.
• Previous experience in care work would be considered advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
