Extra Care Scheme Manager

Up to £32,400 per annum

Permanent, Full Time

Are you someone with a background in managing sheltered housing or extra care services (or similar) and keen on delivering exceptional services to enhance customers lives? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key player in managing our Extra Care scheme at The Spinney in Peterborough, as our Extra Care Scheme Manager. 

Here at Longhurst Group, we are a leading provider of independent living, dedicated to creating vibrant communities where residents can enjoy both communal & independent living and support services committed to enhancing the lives of our customers. As our Extra Care Scheme Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the housing management and support services for our older residents in Peterborough.  

In this role each day will be different, with further responsibilities noted below: 

Contracted to 37 hours per week, worked across 5 days Monday – Friday, our Extra Care Scheme Manager role is based in Peterborough on a daily basis. There will also be travel across their offices (Rushden, Peterborough and Boston) for team meetings and training frequently. 

To be successful in our Extra Care Scheme Manager role, you will need to have previous experience of working with older people in sheltered housing/extra care setting or similar.  Highly organised, with your administration skills being top notch, it’s also vital to be a strong communicator across different channels (face to face and digitally) to keep engagement high with their residents, as well as being confident in your digital skills.
