Job description
We're seeking a Senior Planner to join our dynamic team to deliver our project schedules, working with Primavera P6 to keep projects on track, resources optimized, and senior management informed.
You'll be the go-to for all things project control, collaborating with engineers and technical staff to craft seamless project plans that seamlessly integrate into a harmonious programme of engineering works. But that's just the first movement. You'll also:
- Forecast resource and cost needs like a financial fortune teller, advising leadership and adjusting plans as needed.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of contractor programmes, ensuring they're technically sound, contract-compliant.
- Become a data whisperer , transforming complex information into concise reports that empower project managers to make informed decisions.
- Be the resident resource whiz , using Primavera P6 to predict staffing needs, identify shortfalls, and optimize resource allocation.
- Present plans with panache , captivating boards, meetings, and senior management with clear, actionable insights.
- Champion continuous improvement , working alongside the project manager to refine and elevate our scheduling prowess.
You're a perfect fit if you possess:
- A degree in engineering, physical sciences, or a similar field.
- Mastery of Primavera P6 (or equivalent experience).
- A knack for understanding technical concepts and engineering principles.
- Microsoft Office Suite fluency (Excel and Word are your best friends).
- A proven track record in project control.
- The ability to absorb technical information.
- A collaborative spirit that thrives in a team environment.
