Location: Windsor & Maidenhead
Salary: £160 - £245 per day
Start Date: Immediately

For a post at one of our esteemed client schools in Windsor & Maidenhead. GSL Education Watford is presently looking to hire a qualified History Teacher . We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator that has a genuine desire to teach history to students in an interesting, creative, and inspiring way.
As the appointed History Teacher , you will be required to:
- Ensure that the necessary preparation has been made for the class and that the marking of student work complies with departmental and institutional assessment guidelines.
- Assign homework and grade it in line with departmental and institutional rules.
- Motivate, uplift, excite, and challenge students to produce the greatest caliber work.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have:
- Requirements Previous Humanities or History Teaching Experience or Newly Qualified ECT; A teaching credential recognized in the UK, such as a PGCE or Bachelor of Education in History with QTS;
- The ability to maintain a safe and positive learning environment through effective behaviour control.
- Prepare academic materials, including as homework assignments, syllabi, and instructional handouts.
- Report to the department chair on a regular basis on the success of concepts.
- Have excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with children and adults, including parents and employees.
- Setting up examinations and evaluations
- Leading conversations in class and encouraging involvement from all students while including pertinent reading and current affairs
- Analysing each student's unique strengths, limitations, and possibilities and addressing problems as they arise
- Uphold clearly communicated rules and behaviour expectations for a disciplined and inclusive classroom setting
