Job description
What you will do in your working day
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to liase with clients and third parties, fostering a proactive approach to resolving calls
- Use analytical problem solving skills to diagnose issues, implement fixes and deliver resolutions via the Helpdesk
- Respond to requests as necessary based on priority, adhering to Service Level Agreements
- Manage time and workload resourcefully and take pride in the work you complete, understanding its place in business
- Work efficiently across 2 teams, providing support to Techedia's client base with Case Management support queries and contribute to the build of middleware solutions
- Complete internal training course over the duration of 12 months to aide continuous professional development
The training you will be getting
As a Software Developement apprentice, you will work alongside a wider development team in a support role; you will work under the supervision of more experienced developers to learn and acquire the necessary skills to become a competent software developer.
Your main responsibilities will consist of designing and implementing secure code, executing test plans, and developing software documentation for stakeholders and end-users.
You will assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications, websites, and other software products. You will learn to code, test, debug, and troubleshoot software applications and assist with the deployment of software to production environments.

SOFTWARE DESIGN: OBJECT-ORIENTED PROGRAMMING - COURSE 3
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: OBJECT-ORIENTED PROGRAMMING - COURSE 4
DESIGN AND DEVELOP WEB TECHNOLOGIES - COURSE 5
DESIGN AND DEVELOP DATABASES AND DATA CONNECTIONS - COURSE 6
SOFTWARE TESTING & DEPLOYMENT
Your training will be delivered in blocks every 4-6 weeks, upon completing the apprenticeship you will receive a Level 3 Software development technician Qualification.
