Salary: £20.00

Key Objectives:
• To develop, prepare and manage tree maintenance programmes
• To manage the specialist tree maintenance contractor
• Carry out inspections of work sites to ensure the required quality and quantity of work is completed.
• To produce reports including insurance claims and provide specialist advice
• To evaluate and process tree works requests in Conservation Areas and TPO’s.
• To administer new TPO to requests or threats.
• Planning and implementation tree planting schemes

Experience
• Experience of tree management and maintenance programmes
• Capable of monitoring contractor performance and standards
• Knowledge of Manual Handling and Health & Safety
• Traffic management
• LOPS Permits
• TPO and Conservation Areas
• Experience of working on the public highway and the necessary requirements
• Knowledge of performance management and performance indicators
• Able to respond effectively to emergency situations
• Able to analyse financial information and have sound administrative skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good customer care skills

Qualifications
• Professional Arboricultural qualification
• Recognised chainsaw certification
• Professional Visual tree Inspection

Working conditions/circumstances
• Willing and able to work outside of core hours
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team
• Current driving licence and own car
